Membership Levels

Utility, Industry, and Service Provider

INDUSTRY MEMBERS
Industry members include any companies that produce smart grid technologies and services such as metering, sensors, communications, software, data analytics, systems integration, and other solutions. Industry membership also applies to companies that deploy smart grid and related energy solutions to run more efficiency and effectively.

UTILITY MEMBERS
Utility members include any companies that generate, distribute and/or sell energy to end consumers.  These include co-op, municipal, and investor owned utilities.

SERVICE PROVIDER MEMBERS
Service provider members offer support to the smart grid industry through various services including accounting, banking, legal, recruiting, consulting, research, and other services.

Education, Government, and Non-Profit

EDUCATION MEMBERS
Education members include universities and other educational institutions involved in the research, development and demonstration of smart grid and related technologies and models.

 

GOVERNMENT MEMBERS
Government members include local, state, regional, and national government agencies and organizations involved in and interested in the development of smart grid and related industries.

 

NON-PROFIT MEMBERS
Non-profit members include 501c3 and 501c6 industry and advocacy organizations involved in and interested in smart grid, energy, environment, and related areas.

Non-Affiliated

INDIVIDUAL
This membership level is designed for professionals who are not-affiliated with another membership level, or may be the only staff person within an organization overseeing the company’s Smart Grid solution. In addition, this level is ideal for individual consultants, subject matter experts, or simply an interested citizens.

Upon joining our community, an organization can register additional colleagues within the organization for no additional cost; and there is no cap to additional registrants. Moreover, members gain price discounts for all Smart Grid Northwest’s events.

Finally, and most importantly, a new member benefits by joining the community which is working to help shape our region’s smart grid solution in: key policy decisions, stakeholders involvement, and industry education alike.
